This is my reply to Tracey's Illustration Friday 'Clutter' task. I had a couple of ideas in my head but couldn't get them down on paper properly, my head is a bit cluttered at the moment - this is the one I settled with in the end. I must admit that it hasn't really turned out how I wanted it to - i don't think the juxtaposition of the images works too well but I did like the idea of working to a deadline, even if it wasn't a real deadline. Maybe I should've spent a little longer playing with the image in Photoshop. Maybe I'll take the idea a little further when I'm not so mad busy at work. Maybe...

oooh i like this! the writing is so clever, it looks all 3d!
yeah i think the original looks a bit better although the pen was a little bit too smudgey. I should really invest in some top of the range biro's - bic or something.
Thank you alex! the writing is inspired by the elastic bands that I wear on my wrist all the time for no real reason - they're a bit cluttersome to be honest!
